I'm not dead, just trying to find my way...........

Well it's true. Dont ya know? My heart really wants to be posting more often. I want to be creating beautiful items. I could go on and on about why I haven't been able to commit to my favorite hobby but I think its completely unneccessary. I will say this though,.......My Beloved and Dear Ol' Mom's Estate is officially closed. And may my Father-In-Law Rest In Peace.

This weekend may be my official kick-off to a brand new creative me that I may share with family and friends.

Okay Okay! Enough is enough. I have finally gotten most of the stuff that was required of me over the last 7 months completed. Although I am still waiting on the sale of my mom's home. Everything else seems to be falling in place. The kids will be back in school this time next week. That in itself is a true blessing. I love when Autumn is knocking on the door. I went to the Minnesota State Fair last Saturday with my BFF Julie. We had a really good time. We didn't eat as much as either one of us had planned to. Julie ordered us up a Cricut off of the HSN last week and we are both knawing at the bit to use it. At the end of September we have a group of 17 going on a scrap retreat. Because of my crazy hours that I keep as a Dispatcher and Union President it seems as if I really have to plan my days accordingly. Friday is looking like a good day to create and share on my blog. So that is the plan and now that I've written them in stone I must keep up my end of the bargain. So look for something Friday Sept 4th.

Okay okay! It's been sooo long since I was able to stamp or scrap for fun or even post occassionaly on my beautiful blog.

I'm nearly finished with my 8 week training for St Paul Fire Dept. I will then be able to devote more time to creating with ink and blogging.

Look for something to be posted this weekend.

I'm posting 2 of my cards I made for participation in Unity's Hip Hop Challenges for 3/26/09 (presented by the "uber" talented Jeanne Streiff). I chose images from Unity's Kit of the Month March. The black and purple card were for the challenge that was titled....."No Sour Grapes". The other card was for the challenge titled...."Think Spring", although I think it is more like "smack dab in the middle of summer".
